About 35 people have signed up as members of the Computer Skills Group. At first we paired “novices” with “experts” to pass on our skills. We now also have regular monthly meetings which include question and answer sessions, informal discussions and short presentations on computer related topics.
In recent months attendance has "dwindled" somewhat and I am getting the impression that some people are finding the presentations too advanced. This is a shame, as I have always made it clear that I will attempt to pitch the level of complexity at meetings to what the members want. I am quite prepared to offer some very basic sessions, and at the same time I should be grateful if some of the more "advanced" members could help me with this.
We meet on the second Monday afternoon of each month, between 2 and 4 pm in the Cranbury Room at the Hilt. This is an open meeting and all members of Monks Brook U3A are welcome. To cover room hire we charge up to £2 at each meeting to cover room hire. Please let me know if you would be able to make a short presentation of say, 30 minutes at any of the meetings.
