The group meets twice a week, on Monday 2.30 to 5pm and Thursday from 7.30 to 10pm. People play when they can,
either one or both sessions, there is no obligation to play every week. We have had as many as fourteen people and as few as four.
We are still small enough to meet in each others’ houses. The object is to enjoy playing bridge together with informal
discussion of hands, use of conventions and for all to improve their bridge skills. We have all levels of players, several have learnt to play from scratch with the group and others have gone to classes and practised their new found skills with us.
Once a year we have sent a team to play other teams in an inter U3A competition..
