This group will read plays for sheer enjoyment! Let the actor in you out! Many people enjoy reading plays aloud knowing they haven't the stress of learning the lines or the nervous agony of actually going on stage.
We anticipate reading plays aloud, taking turns with the various characters, with discussion of the plot and character development, and looking how the play might be staged, what difficulties might be encountered with realising the playwright's vision.
We will read a mix of play genres, comedy, drama, classics, even panto perhaps in December or January. Although we will start out with scripts Sheila already has, from her involvement with Chameleon Theatre, we will also borrow from the Library, and members will suggest plays they wish to read.
We meet at 2.00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday in the month.
