Stanpit Marshes - 31 miles from Chandlers Ford via Cadnam, Lyndhurst and then the A35 to Christchurch.
At the roundabout on the outskirts of Christchurch take the B3059 (straight on).
In one mile at the next roundabout turn left to Stanpit Village - pass "The Ship In Distress" pub on the right and look for the Recreation Ground a few yards further on - also on the right. Free parking. Meet here at 10am.
There are two pubs in the village and a fish and chip shop - the rec is also good place for a picnic!
Toilets are nearby.
If you google - CHOG - (Christchurch Ornithological Group) it is a great site with daily posting of sitings and lovely photos!
It is tidal so can't guarantee what we might see!
